Poems
A collection of poems all on one page
Yellowed
Yellowed
One year one month
Since I was given a t shirt that has
Naruto on the front and
Sasuke on the back and
I know next to nothing about Naruto
Despite having read 28 volumes of manga that I didn’t take in at all
But the shirt was nice because it is
Soft and
Baggy and
From you.
As in,
You brought it from your home
And I was helping you pack and
You had it, brand new, ready for someone to take it
And it fit me perfectly.
Every time I put it on
I think of you and the sushi we ate
And the busses we went on
And going to london and watching you play piano
St Pancras was full of such beautiful music.
And so now,
One year one month later
On the hundredth wash
The armpits remain yellow instead of the crisp new white.
Noises I hear on the bus
Noises I hear on the bus when I’m just not feeling it today
Sneezing
Coughing
Child coughing
Child crying that they’re too hot
Someone complaining about going to the job centre
Someone trying to listen to a youtube video out loud without headphones
Bell ringing
Bell ringing
Bell ringing
Someone complaining that someone keeps pressing the bell and that constantly pressing it isn’t going to make us get to the stop any quicker
Sneezing
Me not being able to read my book
